Pup Ov, the bio drag king @King_Ov_Kink, AKA King Ov or just Ov, is the founder and owner of KINK-OV-GEAR. Everything you see on this website is a product of his wild imagination. Mr KOG (of Glasgow) joins the wider club of other mysterious misters: Mister B (of Amsterdam), Mr. S Leather (of San Francisco), MR. Riegillio (of Amsterdam), MistR Bear (of Montréal), Mr. S (of ForFun Bangkok) amongst others kinky creators.

 

​OV is in his mid-30s and  has been collecting gear since his teens, starting with his first love of iconic basketball trainers, that grew into a vast collection of sneakers, moving onto some leather, rubber and PVC garments, and ending up supporting #teamlocked with his fascination of cages.

 

During a dark, cold Scottish winter, following a painful breakup, OV decided to cheer himself up by opening up his kinky cupboards and start an art project of generating 111 unusual shiny looks from the 111 sq m of his house. He was encouraged by a friend who showed how friendly and open the kinky gram can be. OV quickly realised he was unimpressed with repeated staple,  standard looks found on there, and decided to try everything using his multiple three-phrased alter egos and mix things up to study the world of kink and answer his own questions about its nature.

He decided to stay masked the whole time, to keep some mystery & privacy. The project met it's initial objectives, then mountains of gear were bought over the course of a year, more risks were taken and a brand was started to help others find joy & escape in transformative gear and role play. His recent discovery of gas mask versatility and liberating puppy play and the world's appetite for innovation in this market were the leading causes of founding the brand. The key has always been to stay present, and retain one's inner child.

Ov's partner, Blanko @pup_blanko is now a dedicated product tester and a photographer for KINK-OV-GEAR. Based in Glasgow, an increasingly open-minded Scottish largest city, they travel to various locations to frame his provocative outfits into raw landscapes. OV's love for urban decay & exploration of abandoned buildings and castles, as well as hiking in the Scottish Highlands and beaches has been providing a natural setting for our quick and spontaneous photoshoots. This has been supplemented by kinksters' events & meeting places: Manchester, Berlin, London, Antwerp, Barcelona etc.

 

OV rarely spends more than 10 mins "cooking" an outfit for the photoshoots, focusing on colours and textures that compliment each other in a challenging way. He rarely spends more than 15 mins sporting it. His art of staying shiny and "reflecting the light" happens in a brief moment, it is spontaneous & transitory, and disappears soon after conception. It often fuels ideas & new designs for KINK-OV-GEAR range

OV loves to conceptualise new uses for repurposed and upcycled objects, and is eager to bring novel products to fulfill niche fantasies.

At KINK-OV-GEAR, Ov is the Artistic Director. He is in charge of its diverse supply chain and Quality Assurance.
